I had mostly been in customer service my entire working life. Starting off at Mcdonald’s when I was 14 to some of the largest tech companies in the world, Apple & Google. I knew I always wanted to so something with technology since that first job at Mcdonald’s was to purchase my own computer. When I found out about UX, that was all I could think about. I love solving problems for people and that's actually the way I found out about it. My friends had just joined the industry about 3 years ago and he was coming to me for some advice on a project he was doing. Just needed a second pair of fresh eyes to take a look. After suggesting a couple of things that he later added into his work he recommended I look into UX design a bit more since he thinks I am perfect for it. Of course after looking at all the cool things you get to do I fell in love. It was only after reading some articles and watching some videos about what people hate about their UX jobs that I knew it was perfect for me. (I know, why would I think its perfect after seeing everyone complain about it?) Well that's because everything they were saying I had already been dealing with in my other jobs and they were things that don't really bother me right now. And with my experience at Google as a US Designer, I am excited to start this new journey of my life.
